A self-catering cottage for 2 people situated in the middle of the village of Compton, which is midway between Chichester and Petersfield (8 miles from each).
The cottage is behind our house, away from the road, in the walled garden, and attached to the house. It has its own front door. Guests have use of the terrace and part of the garden. It has its own front door up three steps.
The cottage is well furnished and equipped.

The kitchen is well equipped. There is a microwave and an electric double oven cooker.

The bedroom is accessed by 7 steps from the entrance level. There is a hand rail.

Use of terrace outside the flat, and part of the garden. There is a table with chairs.
Allocated space 60yds from cottage.
Full linen is included in the rent – bed linen, towels, tea towels
– There is a spin dryer and airing cupboard, and a rotary clothes line. Use of our washing machine if required.
TELEPHONE and WI-FI
The telephone in the flat is metered. Costs to be settled on departure.
Wi-Fi is usually available, also available in the village tea shop.

THIS IS A NO SMOKING PROPERTY
- provided that they are well behaved, and do not chase the cat or sit on the beds! We charge £10 a week for a dog, no more than two. Please keep your dog under control in the garden.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
The flat is available from 2pm on the Friday. Guests are asked to be clear of the cottage by 10am on day of departure. We ask our visitors to leave the flat clean and tidy.
Is a small village situated in the South Downs area, now a National Park. There is a pub and an excellent village shop / tea room. Ideal for walking and touring. For those keen on walking there are several footpaths straight from the village. There are many more walks in the area including the South Downs Way. Chichester, Portsmouth, Goodwood and Chichester Harbour are all within easy reach. We are close to Uppark, a National Trust property.
A bus goes through the village 5 times a day each way, to both Chichester and Petersfield. (Not Sundays and public holidays)
